Shun Tak Group (the “Group”) recently brought together young people from its various youth programs, including finalists of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce (HKGCC) Business Case Competition, interns from the Shanghai-Hong Kong Internship Programme at NEW BUND 31, and interns from Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, for an adventure experience at Macau Tower through T+ Exploration, the Group’s flagship community investment program. The event fostered deeper exchange among young people from different regions and backgrounds and put the Shun Tak NextGen talent development vision into practice.

Taking its cue from the adventure tourism concept explored in the Business Case Competition, the program gave participants firsthand insight into how the cultural tourism industry operates and what sets it apart. Through the Skywalk and Bungy Jump, participants stepped outside their comfort zones, built courage and resilience, experienced the distinctive appeal of Macao’s adventure tourism for themselves, and discovered their own potential through self-challenge.

The event also transcended geographical and conventional learning boundaries, bringing together local and international students from universities in Hong Kong and Macao to share what they had gained from their competitions and internships. Participants met peers from different cultural backgrounds, drew inspiration from one another’s perspectives, and extended their learning beyond the classroom, the competition, and the internship.

The exchange embodies the “Explore · Experience · Empower” vision of Shun Tak NextGen: by connecting youth development initiatives across the Group’s businesses and combining hands-on business exposure, knowledge sharing, and experiential learning, it helps young people broaden their career horizons and explore their future paths.
