As a company rooted in Hong Kong and Macao, Shun Tak Group has always upheld the belief in giving back to the society from which it draws support. While steadily expanding its business, the Group continues to promote a caring workplace and support its staff in balancing work and family life. This year’s Family Day therefore took a new approach. Departing from the format of previous years, the Group co-organized a parent-child activity with the Hong Kong Red Cross for the first time. Through activities of this kind, the Group deepens its connection with families and the community.

On 26 August, the Group partnered with the Hong Kong Red Cross to hold a Parent-Child First Aid Workshop. A team of professional instructors tailored the workshop for staff and their children aged six to twelve. Through an enjoyable experience, children acquired practical safety knowledge, including the prevention of common childhood accidents at home and basic ways to handle injuries and illnesses. The workshop also featured hands-on sessions on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Through interactive learning, participating colleagues and their children deepened their understanding of basic first aid and gained practical skills. Each child who completed the workshop received a certificate.

Looking ahead, Shun Tak Group will continue to broaden its collaboration with non-profit organizations of all kinds and launch more activities, allowing care to flow among families, the workplace and the community while spreading positive energy throughout society.
