To actively promote decarbonization, energy conservation, and greener workplace practices, Shun Tak Group once again participated in Biz-Green Dress Day 2026 on 2 September. Co-organized by the Construction Industry Council and the Hong Kong Green Building Council, the initiative brought together colleagues from Hong Kong, Macao, the Chinese Mainland and Singapore, who embraced light, professional attire and the campaign’s signature colors to incorporate sustainability into their everyday working lives.
This year, colleagues were encouraged to dress in four colors to reflect the Green Building Powers, giving lighter workplace attire a renewed environmental purpose. By moving away from the constraints of more formal and layered business wear, colleagues were encouraged to put low-carbon principles into practice through small changes. Red represents health and well-being, encouraging participants to go tieless and wear open-necked shirts for greater comfort at work; blue represents resource efficiency through breathable and lightweight fabrics; green signifies environmental friendliness by reducing clothing layers; while yellow highlights innovation through professional yet stylish attire.
The initiative received strong support from the Group’s business units and teams across different locations, including 111 Somerset, Artyzen Hospitality Group, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau, Artyzen Singapore, Artyzen Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai, TurboJET, Retail Matters Limited, Shun Tak Property Management Limited, Shun Tak Real Estate Limited and colleagues at regional offices. Through their vibrant and creative lightweight outfits, they demonstrated the Group’s diverse workplace culture, where comfort, professional commitment and environmental awareness go hand in hand.
More than an annual dress initiative, Biz-Green Dress Day promotes low-carbon living through everyday action. By choosing simpler, lightweight, and breathable workwear, colleagues can enhance workplace comfort, reduce air-conditioning demand, and help conserve energy; the initiative also encourages the mindful use of existing clothing to reduce textile waste. Furthermore, through participation across departments, business units and regions, the Group brings its flagship environmental advocacy program, “Think Green Live Green”, to life and encourages colleagues to adopt more sustainable habits. Our sincere thanks go to every green advocate who actively participated in and supported this year’s event. Looking ahead, Shun Tak Group will continue to put low-carbon principles into practice through the small choices made in how we dress, work, and live, bringing together the strength of our teams to build a greener and more sustainable future.
