We are proud to share that NEW BUND 31 has recently been honored with two significant recognitions: “2025 Music Industry Annual Contribution Award” (2025 音樂產業年度貢獻榮譽) at the 11th China International Music Industry Conference, and was once again conferred the title of “Shanghai Outstanding Civilized Theatre” (上海市文明優秀劇場) by the Shanghai Performing Arts Association. These achievements highlight the project’s growing cultural influence and operational excellence.
As a mixed-use cultural development project jointly developed by the Group and Lujiazui Group in Shanghai, NEW BUND 31 integrates performing arts, culture, commerce and lifestyle, serving as a successful demonstration of the Group’s “Tourism+” development strategy. By empowering Shanghai with culture and creativity, it establishes a new urban cultural landmark with international vision. The project’s Performing Arts Center (The Bank of Communications NEW BUND 31 Performing Arts Center) is the largest indoor professional theater in Shanghai, accommodating a 2,500-seat concert hall and 1,500 square meters Black Box Arts Space. It provides diverse cultural and entertainment experiences for residents, visitors and art enthusiasts, and has become a landmark performing arts venue of international standards.
These two accolades reflect the support and recognition extended to New Bund 31 by event organizers, partners, creators and audiences. Looking ahead, New Bund 31 will continue to focus on cultural experiences as its core, introducing more world‑class cultural performances and original local productions to enrich Shanghai’s cultural landscape and inject new vitality into the city.
