TurboJET, a brand under Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited, in partnership with Shenzhen Airport Group, officially launched a high-speed ferry service between Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal and Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal on 23 November, enhancing the integrated transport network of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and boosting regional development. The inauguration ceremony was held at Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal, with government officials and partners in attendance to witness this new milestone in GBA transport integration.
The launch of the new route actively responds to the national strategic initiatives of “improving the modern comprehensive transport system” and “building a world-class airport cluster”, representing a key step towards strengthening transport connectivity. The route connect Shenzhen’s role as an international integrated transport hub with Macau’s status as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure, injecting strong impetus to the interconnectivity of GBA infrastructure.
