Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation held its fifth member congress in Guangzhou recently and elected the new leadership. Ms. Pansy Ho, Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director, is re-elected as a standing deputy chairman of the executive committee. After the election, a launching ceremony was held to encourage hundreds of professional groups from Hong Kong and Macao to support “The High-quality Development Project for Guangdong’s Counties, Towns, and Villages”. Macao Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre (“Macao Tower”), which is operated by Shun Tak Group, will sponsor event venues for the fifth “Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(“GBA”) Young Artist Music Week”, promoting youth exchanges in GBA and stimulating “tourism + music” development in Macao, showcasing the new vitality of the Cultured Bay Area.

Founded in 2009, Council for the Promotion of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation is an independent legal social organization approved by Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese Communist Party and People’s Government of Guangdong Province, supported by the government of Hong Kong and Macao SAR. With over 2000 members, it has become an important platform for people from all walks of life in Hong Kong and Macao to participate in the development of GBA, integrate into the overall development of the country as well as participate in Belt and Road Initiative.

As a cultural tourism conglomerate with a love to our country, to Hong Kong and to Macao, Shun Tak Group commits to promote interaction and communication among different sectors of our society and strengthen sense of belonging to our country among Hong Kong and Macao people.
