The Group has been making strides in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) by promoting and participating in projects and initiatives related to sustainability. Recently we had the pleasure to be part of the TVB ESG Summit 2024 to explore Hong Kong’s implementation of a low-carbon economic transition and to share our practices on ESG.
As one of the Enhancement Matching Exhibitors at the event, we communicated with various participants on ESG issues at our booth. We were also invited to be one of the speakers in the panel session “Corporate Sharing – Promoting Sustainable Development Establishing Green Lifestyle”, sharing our contribution to ESG on a broader scale under our different business areas including hospitality and tourism, property and investment etc. Take our integrated development projects as example, in addition to constructing green buildings, we also combine culture, conservation, arts and other elements with the background of communities and culture, aiming to build harmonious and sustainable communities. Meanwhile, we also shared our hotels’ practices on enhancing energy efficiency, investing in renewable energy and energy conservation and emission reduction.
Furthermore, we also showcased our green endeavors and community investments, leveraging our recent efforts in the revamp of our “Think Green Live Green” initiatives, which aims to integrate sustainability into our corporate culture by encouraging our colleagues to develop a well-balanced, green lifestyle and help those in need in society.
Looking ahead, we remain steadfast in our commitment in sustainable development and will continue to firmly anchor sustainability into our corporate identity and make positive impacts on the environment and community.
