Ms. Pansy Ho, Shun Tak Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director, has been appointed as the “Dunhuang Cultural Ambassador” at the 7th Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo. The honor was presented by Ren Zhenhe, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Gansu Province.
During a speech, Ms. Pansy Ho expressed, “As someone who loves the Dunhuang culture, I am deeply honored to become the ‘Dunhuang Cultural Ambassador’ and take on this important responsibility. Protecting and inheriting the Dunhuang culture is essential for maintaining the diversity and creativity of cultures worldwide, and it is also a crucial component for promoting common human development. We need to utilize resources such as technology, capital, and talent to ensure the preservation and inheritance of the Dunhuang culture. At the same time, we should also strengthen promotional efforts, leverage modern digital technologies, and accelerate the creative transformation and development of the Dunhuang culture, transforming the city into an important hub for diverse cultural exchanges from around the world.”
Ms. Pansy Ho is dedicated to promoting the development of the cultural tourism industry. She currently holds multiple titles including the Cultural and Tourism Ambassador for Guangdong, Chongqing-Hong Kong-Macau Advisor, Special Advisor for High-Quality Development of Tourism in Hangzhou, Global Promotion Ambassador for the Miao Embroidery Industry in Qiandongnan, Guizhou, and the Cultural and Tourism Ambassador for Bijie, Guizhou.
