Shun Tak AJ Hackett Skypark Holdings Limited, a consortium formed by the Group and AJ Hackett International Group’s subsidiary, has successfully secured the development and operation rights for the “Adventure Zone” at Ocean Park Hong Kong. The project will transform “The Summit” of Ocean Park into Asia’s first large-scale integrated sky-high adventure tourism destination.

Covering approximately 120,000 square meters, the new “Adventure Zone” will feature various extreme sports facilities, including two 30-meter-high Bungy Jumping, a 30-meter-high Giant Swings, Alpine Coaster Luge, and two 1,000-meter-long Double Giant Ziplines. These world-class attractions, strategically positioned against the backdrop of mountains and sea, will offer visitors thrilling experiences while enjoying panoramic views of Hong Kong Island South’s natural landscape and coastline. The project is scheduled to commence in the fourth quarter of this year and complete by mid-2028.
Mr. Rogier Verhoeven, Executive Director, President of Group Hospitality Division at Shun Tak Group, stated, “We are delighted to team up with Ocean Park Hong Kong and our long-term partner AJ Hackett International group to create a globally recognized adventure destination for Hong Kong. This new tourism landmark will not only create unforgettable memories for visitors to Hong Kong but also inject new momentum into Hong Kong’s cultural tourism industry. ”

This collaboration further validates the Group’s “Tourism+” corporate strategy. Leveraging its pioneering vision in international tourism investment, the Group introduced AJ Hackett International group, a pioneer in operating global adventure tourism, to Macau Tower twenty years ago, in launching the world’s highest commercial bungy jump. This renewed partnership for the “Adventure Zone” project will provide visitors to Hong Kong with fresh experiences that showcase Hong Kong’s charm as a vibrant city.

As an integrated cultural tourism enterprise rooted in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, the Group will continue to leverage its cross-sector advantages in property, hospitality and leisure, and transportation to facilitate Hong Kong’s integration into national development and promote the Greater Bay Area as a world-class tourism destination.
