Ms. Pansy Ho, Shun Tak’s Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director, has been named as one of China Women’s News’ Women of the Year 2023.

China Women’s News described Ms. Ho as an outstanding businesswoman dedicated to facilitating development in the Greater Bay Area. The Group has also been proactive in facilitating development in the Greater Bay Area under her leadership. The Group became one of the first Hong Kong enterprises to collaborate with state-owned corporates in Mainland China with the establishment of one of the world’s largest high-speed ferry fleets, TurboJET, shortly after Hong Kong’s reunification with the Motherland.

Apart from commercial activities, Ms. Ho also undertakes various public roles in her efforts to contribute to society. Beyond serving as a standing committee member of the CPPCC National Committee, a vice chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, she has also been elected as a standing committee member of the All-China Women’s Federation last year. Ms. Ho is dedicated to uniting women in both Hong Kong SAR and Macau SAR in supporting a steadfast and successful implementation of “One Country, Two Systems”. She also encourages and mobilizes women in the Greater Bay Area to seize opportunities offered by the national development and to proactively integrate into the overall development of the country, as a way to contribute to the development of Chinese modernization.
